C130J

Fuselage Trainer

Our engineers designed, analysed and oversaw construction of a series of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) items that enabled the joining of two C-130E fuselages to create a single C-130J. Quartek also designed and analysed the permanent trestling system on which it is supported. The combined fuselage now forms the basis of the Air Force’s primary loadmaster training simulator, located at RAAF base Richmond.
