REQUIREMENTS
Provide engineering and project support to the Air Vehicle Modifications team, focusing on aircraft structures design and analysis, mechanical systems, specification requirements, certification and instructions for continuous airworthiness disciplines on a range of medium-to-long term aircraft capability enhancement and modification projects.
OUTCOMES
Quartek has provided continuous support to the Air Vehicle Modifications team within both the engineering and project fields, solving detailed engineering design issues and providing engineering leadership in support of significant aircraft modifications on a strategically essential defence platform. The project has become an excellent example of how collaboration within the Australian Defence Industry can work between Primes and SME’s where unique skill-sets are required to provide the right engineering support.
